Bus & Airline Services:

PASSENGER AIRLINE SERVICE  -  One  [1]   hour flight from Manila.  

From Laoag International Airport ride a passenger jeep to Laoag City's bus depot, then transfer to a mini-bus bound for Vigan City. Currimao is a half-way distance from Laoag to Vigan - a 30 minutes ride. Along the way, you pass the towns of San Nicolas, Batac, then Currimao. Get off at Barangay Gaang of Currimao. From there take a tricycle ride to the resort of your choice.  

Airport transport arrangement (Arrival & Departure)  is available from selected resorts.  Call resorts for reservation and information.  Also check the airline flight schedule for arrival and travel time to Laoag City.  If you arrive in the evening and don't have an arranged pick up from the airport, you must stay overnight in Laoag City for the next day morning bus ride to Currimao.

PASSENGER BUS SERVICE  - Ten [10] hours travel from Manila.      

 Tell the Bus Conductor that your destination is Currimao and needed to be told when to get off.  A night trip is recommended for comfort. Make sure that you reach your destination in the morning or afternoon. Early morning arrival is not  an option:  No Tricycle Boys or People around from 3:00am  to 6:00 am.  Air condition Buses are available.

 From Manila drive north until you reach the border of Ilocos Norte & Ilocos Sur.   From the border continue driving north, you will pass the town of Badoc, then Currimao.  If you get lost you can either  ask the "Tricycle Boys" or "the People of Currimao" for directions to your chosen resort.

Currimao Foundation.org has been discontinued due to disinterest of the people of Currimao from abroad. We understand that most of the Currimaoenous are new to America, and very busy with their growing families.
